1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Ferrum's services and website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. These terms apply to all visitors and clients. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Definition of Services

Ferrum provides professional legal guidance in three areas: Intellectual Property Advisory, Commercial Lease Negotiation, and Personal Injury Guidance. Our services are provided as specified in individual engagement agreements and are subject to these terms.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use our services. By engaging us, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into an agreement and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

4. Scope of Services

Our services are limited to the scope specified in your engagement agreement. We will not undertake work outside the agreed scope without written amendment to the engagement terms. Any additional work requested will be subject to separate agreement and fees.

Pricing

Fees are fixed and clearly outlined in your engagement agreement. For Intellectual Property Advisory: HKD 6,240. For Commercial Lease Negotiation: HKD 4,290. For Personal Injury Guidance: HKD 2,730.

Payment Method

Payment terms will be specified in your engagement agreement. Invoices must be paid by the due date stated. Failure to pay may result in suspension of services.

While we provide professional guidance, outcomes cannot be guaranteed. Legal matters involve inherent uncertainty. We are not liable for losses arising from:

All information you provide is treated as confidential. We maintain attorney-client privilege for matters within the scope of legal representation. Exceptions apply where disclosure is required by law.

9. Conflict of Interest

We maintain careful procedures to identify and manage conflicts of interest. If a conflict arises, we will notify you and will not proceed unless you provide informed consent.

10. Termination of Services

By Client

You may terminate services by providing written notice. You remain responsible for fees incurred to the date of termination and will receive an invoice for work completed.

By Ferrum

We may terminate services if circumstances prevent us from providing appropriate representation, including conflicts of interest, non-payment, or provision of false information.

11. Intellectual Property

Any work product, advice, or materials developed as part of our services belong to you. We retain the right to use general methodologies and approaches in other matters, provided client confidentiality is maintained.

12. Disputes & Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong. Any dispute arising from our services will be resolved through negotiation, mediation, or if necessary, arbitration under Hong Kong arbitration procedures.

13. Limitation on Class Actions

Any legal claims or disputes must be brought individually, not as part of a class action or collective proceeding.

Our services are provided on an "as is" basis. While we strive to provide accurate guidance, we cannot warrant that advice will achieve specific outcomes or that all potential issues have been identified.

Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of external sites. Your use of third-party services is governed by their terms.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ferrum, its team members, and affiliates from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your use of our services, including claims based on inaccurate information you provided.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms & Conditions, together with your engagement agreement and any amendments, constitute the entire agreement between you and Ferrum regarding our services. No oral statements or representations supersede these written terms.

18. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our services indicates acceptance of revised terms.

19. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
